Extra drop-in vaccination clinics in region today

ADDITIONAL drop-in vaccination clinics are running across the region today.
Anyone aged over 18 who is now at least 12 weeks from their second jag is strongly encouraged to take up the opportunity to receive a booster jag, which is now known to play a key role in defending against the Omicron variant.
People are encouraged to book their slot through the national portal, or alternatively attend drop-in clinics taking place as follows:

Mountainhall Treatment Centre in Dumfries – Wednesday January 5, Now until 12.30 pm, then from 1.30 pm till 4 pm.

Castle Douglas Town Hall in Castle Douglas – Wednesday January 5, Now until 12.30 pm, then from 1.30 pm till 4 pm.

Charles Street Clinic in Annan – Wednesday January 5, Now until 12.30 pm, then from 1.30 pm till 4 pm.

Newton Stewart Cottage Hospital, Newton Stewart – Wednesday January 5, Now until 12.30 pm, then from 1.30 pm till 3 pm.

Sanquhar Community Centre, Sanquhar – Wednesday January 5, Now until 12.30 pm, then from 1.30 pm till 3 pm.

Mountainhall Treatment Centre in Dumfries – Thursday January 6, 5 pm to 8 pm

Mountainhall Treatment Centre in Dumfries – Tuesday January 11, 5 pm to 8 pm

Sanquhar Community Hall in Sanquhar – Wednesday January 12, 4 pm to 7 pm


Drop-ins may require queuing, and with vaccinations as vaccine supplies allow.
