Patient Services
Staff in the Patient Services Team work to support patient care. Our aim is to assist clinical and managerial colleagues to provide high quality healthcare. This is often referred to as improving the ‘patient experience’.
Patient Services covers the areas of:
- Patient Feedback
- Volunteering
- Patient Information
What We Do
Patient Feedback – Staff in this area work with clinical staff and managers across the organisation to put systems in place that afford timely responses to concerns raised by patients and carers about the healthcare they or their families have received.
Volunteering – Members of the public are welcome to volunteer in a range of departments and services. The Volunteering Co-ordinator supports this process through providing advice to people thinking about volunteering and service managers hoping to take volunteers into their wards or departments.
Patient Information – The Patient Information Co-ordinator works closely with staff across the organisation providing help and advice about how to provide high quality written information for patients, carers and the public.
