Supporting Your Mental Wellbeing at Work
The NHS Dumfries & Galloway 1-1 Staff Psychology Service is dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our workforce. Designed for staff members facing workplace stress, anxiety, or personal challenges that are impacting their work, our service offers confidential, one-to-one psychological support to help you thrive in your role and beyond.
Our team of Clinical Psychologists and Psychological Therapists is trained to understand the unique pressures of working in health and social care, ensuring you receive compassionate, relevant support.
Staff can self-refer for 1-1 psychology support by emailing the Staff Psychology Service at dg.staffpsychologyservice@nhs.scot. Staff members can also call 01387 241303 and leave a voicemail with their name and contact number and a member of the Staff Support Team will call back.
Our service inbox is checked on a weekly basis, so there may be a short delay in processing your referral - a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible though please expect a delay of up to 7 days. Appointments will take place virtually using the NHS Near Me video call platform. In certain circumstances face to face appointments at Mountainhall Treatment Centre, Bankend Road Dumfries, DG1 4TG may be arranged, but this will be on a limited basis.
