Our British Sign Language Plan
The BSL (Scotland) Act 2015 requires public bodies in Scotland to publish plans every six years setting out actions to promote BSL and support BSL users.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway is committed to eliminating discrimination, advancing equality of opportunity and fostering good relations and the BSL plan reflects this commitment by working to ensure that BSL users have equal access to information, services and opportunities within our Board.
The plan has been developed through engagement with our local community and is a reflection of the feedback and insight provided by the participants and our shared ambitions for this work over the next six years.
