Drop-in flu vaccination clinics will be operating across the region in December. Vaccination is free for anyone who is eligible, and no appointment is needed – for dates, times, and places, see below.
Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect against infectious diseases, and if you’re older, or you have other medical conditions that make you more vulnerable, you could be particularly at risk this winter.
If you’re eligible for a free flu vaccination this winter, but you haven’t been able to attend your appointment, you don’t have to miss out. You don’t need an appointment – just turn up (though you may have to wait for your turn if the clinic is busy). Please only attend the clinic if you are eligible – your eligibility will be checked at the clinic and only eligible people will be vaccinated.

Eligibility for flu vaccinations includes everyone aged 65 or over, care home residents, adults with a health condition that makes them eligible (check the list at https://www.nhsinform.scot/healt…/immunisation/flu-vaccine), unpaid or young carers, pregnant women, all NHS staff, frontline social care workers, unpaid or young carers, anyone living with someone with a weakened immune system, poultry workers and bird handlers.
