GP practice teams across Dumfries and Galloway will be closed for routine appointments in order to allow staff training. This is known as Protected Learning Time (PLT). The dates of PLT closures in 2026 are listed below. These vary according to the location of each practice. Practices have been divided into four geographical groups, and all practices in the same group will have PLT at the same time.
