As part of our regular testing for coronavirus of those living and working in Dumfries and Galloway, the NHS Public Health team have become aware that there may be people in mid and upper Nithsdale who have COVID infection, but with very mild symptoms.
Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership, with the support of the army, is providing additional Mobile Testing Units in this area for the next week.
We would encourage members of the public who feel that they should be tested, even if they have mild symptoms (including any cold or flu-like symptoms), to use these facilities.
Testing can be booked online at https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test, or by turning up at the testing unit between 9:30am and 4:30pm.
