Wednesday was International Nurses Day – held every year on Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12.
School children in the region have been helping to mark the day, and as part of that talented pupils in P1 and P2 at Sheuchan Primary in Stranraer produced an array of colour designs.
Many thanks to them and other school children in the region for helping to celebrate the day, and the role played by all members of the region’s nursing family.
